Tacos, shade, and coloring pages — what more do you need?

During our first weekend in the new neighborhood, we wandered past Chago’s Cantina on Belmont Blvd and were immediately sold by the smell of sizzling street corn and the sound of chill patio vibes. Stroller in tow, we snagged a shaded table and settled in.

Here’s what we loved:

  • Happy Hour every day from 4–6 PM 🙌

  • Kid-friendly everything — coloring pages, high chairs, and zero judgment

  • Mocktails that actually taste good (Lavender Lemon FTW)

What we ordered:

  • Ground beef + pork belly tacos (from the $7 happy hour menu — we shared)

  • Street corn that was so worth the mess

  • Chips + salsa for the table

  • Lavender Lemon mocktail — refreshing and not too sweet

The best part? $20 total. Yes, really. In 2025. I triple-checked the receipt.

If you're craving tacos or just need a stroller friendly patio to decompress, Chago’s is a solid yes. Bonus points for being walking-distance if you're lucky enough to live nearby (🙋‍♀️).
