Hi, I'm Raven -
Mama, Lover, Doer, and the voice behind Life by LB.
This little corner of the internet is share the beauty and chaos of all of it.

Who I am
I’m a full-time working single mom living in Nashville. Most days, you’ll find me juggling early meetings, toddler antics, endless dishes, and maybe sneaking in a run or a good playlist. Life’s busy, beautiful, and rarely quiet—but it’s mine, and I’m proud of it.
I started this space as a way to document our days and connect with others walking similar paths—moms doing it all, doing their best, or just doing what they can. This corner of the internet is part journal, part resource, part “we’re in this together."
Wait—what’s “LB”?
Short for “Little Bird,” a nickname my family has called me for as long as I can remember. Sometimes it’s “Birdie,” sometimes just “LB”—but it’s always been a term of love, identity, and a reminder of who I am at my core. When I named this space Life by LB, it felt right: a blend of past and present, grounded in who I’ve always been and who I’m still becoming.
Why I Share
After becoming a mom,I found myself craving stories that felt like mine: modern, full, sometimes lonely, but never without joy. So I started telling my own.
Now, I create content about everyday life. Nothing overly filtered. Just a window into what it means to raise a child and stay connected to yourself at the same time.
If what I share makes you laugh, feel seen, or realize you’re not the only one eating fish stick off of a kids plate at 11 p.m., then I’ve done my job.
